Galileo is the European global navigation satellite system (GNSS) created by the European Union through ESA (European Space Agency) and operated by EUSPA (European Union Agency for the Space Programme).

It is composed by a constellation of 30 medium-earth-orbiting (MEO) satellites, 2 Control Centres (in Italy and Germany), 2 Security Monitoring Centres (in France and Spain) , 6 TT&C stations, 10 ULS stations and 30 GSS stations.

Galileo is the world’s largest programme of its kind!

Within the programme, we are providing support to ESA, EUSPA, Thales Alenia Space, GMV, LEONARDO, Telespazio, Spaceopal for phase-D and phase-E activities.
