EGNOS V3 is the evolution of the EGNOS programme (European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service) which is the first pan-European satellite navigation system aimed at improving global positioning systems accuracy.
Started by ESA (European Space Agency), EGNOS infrastructure is now owned and managed by EUSPA (European Union Agency for the Space Programme) on behalf of the European Commission.
EGNOS V3 is the first SBAS (Satellite-based Augmentation System) able to implement the dual frequency and multi constellation world standard with both GPS and Galileo positioning systems.
Within the programme, we are providing support to Thales Alenia Space and EUSPA for Phase-D activities.
