WHAT WE LOOK FOR

We are looking for a Galileo IVQ Engineer to support Verification, Qualification and operational activities within the Galileo programme.

Requirements:

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT, system administration or software maintenance environments
  • Technical expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  • Software installation and configuration
  • Network administration
  • Linux system administration
  • Virtualisation technologies
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls) and of operating systems (Linux and Windows)
  • Experience in Galileo programme is not mandatory but considered a strong asset
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of French is a plus
  • Ability to work on-site in Toulouse
  • Eligibility for security clearance

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Galileo IVQ Engineer, you will contribute to the integration, verification and qualification activities of the Galileo Ground Segment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting IVQ activities for Galileo Ground Segment systems and subsystems
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining software and IT systems used during verification and operational phases
  • Providing operational and technical support during test campaigns and system evolutions
  • Supporting anomaly detection, analysis and troubleshooting in collaboration with engineering and operations teams
  • Contributing to test preparation, execution and reporting
  • Supporting maintenance activities and service operations
  • Participating in technical reviews and coordination meetings with internal teams and customers
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable procedures, standards and quality requirements
